The sudden closure of airspace over El Paso, Texas, highlights how a lack of coordination between the military and federal agencies continues to endanger the public one year after a mid-air collision near Washington, Senate Democrats said Thursday.
The FAA appears to have acted out of concern about possible dangers from nearby weapons testing when it closed airspace with no public notice earlier this week.
