GREENVILLE – Nell Frances Butler Street, 95, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. She was born on January 17, 1931, in rural Fannin County, Texas to Roy Lee and Sudie Ethel Stokes Butler. Nell graduated from Leonard High School in 1948. Shortly after graduation, she began her 28 year career in the banking industry. She married Fred Street in June 1976, and moved to Tarrant County. In 2008, she moved to Greenville, and later to Wolfe City in 2010, where she resided until moving to Briarcliff Healthcare Facility in Greenville. Nell found enjoyment in reading, playing games, and baking. She was known for making decorative and delicious cakes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Street; parents, Roy and Ethel Butler; sisters, Kathleen Owens, and Glenna Patterson; and brother, Robert Edwin Butler.
