EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — The El Paso Police Department responded to a suspicious death in Central El Paso.

According to police, EPPD’s Crimes Against Persons responded to a suspicious death at the 2400 block of Hawley.

Authorities responded to a welfare check at a residence around 6 p.m. and discovered two deceased individuals, a man and a woman, inside the home.

Detectives with the Crimes Against Persons Unit are actively investigating the scene.

Police stated it is still early in the investigation, and a full search of the home has not yet been conducted.

Due to this, investigators are unable to release details about a possible motive, exact ages, or the circumstances surrounding the deaths.

Authorities described one of the individuals as an elderly man, but no further information has been confirmed.
