AUSTIN, Texas — Austin Police Department detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a shoplifting incident at Twin Liquors on February 7, 2026.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:30 p.m. at the store located at 1000 E. 41st Street, where the suspects reportedly concealed multiple bottles of tequila in their clothing and left without paying, according to a press release from the department.

The first suspect is described as a Black female in her early 20s, standing 5’4″ tall and weighing 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink hoodie, black leggings, and pink/white Nike Jordans. The second suspect is described as a Black male, 5’10” tall and weighing 150 pounds, last seen wearing a black do-rag, grey joggers, a white t-shirt, and white sneakers.

Anyone with information is encouraged to submit a tip anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program by visiting austincrimestoppers.org or calling 512-472-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for information leading to an arrest.
