EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Federal agents executed a search warrant in Central El Paso as part of a criminal investigation, Homeland Security officials said.
Officials said Homeland Security Investigations agents and U.S. Border Patrol carried out the warrant near the area where Lackland Street and Mountain Avenue intersect, close to US54.
About 30 Department of Homeland Security and ICE units were involved in the operation, according to authorities.
At least five people were taken into custody.
Officials said no further details were available.
