STRUT Dallas presents its Valentine’s Day Tea Dance from 2-9 p.m. at The Round-Up Saloon and Dance Hall, 3912 Cedar Springs Road, starring Sasha Colby, RuPaul’s Drag Race winner and certified “Queen of Queens.” Music by Memox, Apthout and Level; emceed by Chevelle Brooks and also featuring Arya Jealous, Blue Valentine, Briar Rose, Macarena, Mulan Alexander, the Oak Lawn Band. Feb. 14: 2nd Saturday Bird Walk
Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary, 1 Nature Place in McKinney, hosts its 2nd Saturday Bird Walk to help beginning and intermediate birders with bird spotting and identification techniques. Kindertransport: Rescuing Children on the Brink of War, an exhibition showcasing the astonishing rescue effort that, in nine months, brought thousands of unaccompanied children from Nazi-occupied Europe to the United Kingdom, closes Feb. 16 at the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum, 300 N. Cupid’s Undie Run, a one-mile(ish) run benefiting those affected by Neurofibromatosis (NF), a group of genetic conditions that cause tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body, will be held from noon-4 p.m. at Barcardia Dallas, 1917 N. Henderson Ave. The event starts with drinking and dancing with runners jogging the mile-long course in their underwear at 2 p.m., then ends with a dance party back at Barcardia.
