HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Crews are working to clear lanes of the Southwest Freeway at Chimney Rock after an 18-wheeler overturned in a crash on Thursday morning.
The crash happened in the outbound lanes just before 9 a.m. near the West Loop.
ABC13 SkyEye flew over the scenes and saw traffic backed up on the roadway. A truck was also seen smashed beneath the truck’s rig near the shoulder.
Officials did not say what caused the crash or if there were any injuries.
That area will remain closed until crews clear it.
