Bud Light unveiled University of Houston-themed cans of beer.

Consider this a new March Madness essential: University of Houston-themed Bud Lights.

The UH athletics department and Bud Light released a UH-themed can of beer, now available in grocery stores. The can features UH’s signature red and white colors, plus the university’s logo at the top of the can.

More than 32,000 cases of UH-branded Bud Light are being sold across the Houston area at locations where Bud Light is typically sold — including H-E-B, with more hitting stores on Monday.

“Our continued partnership with Bud Light and Silver Eagle to specifically collaborate for Houston-branded canning and packaging, further expands the University of Houston brand throughout the city and state,” Vice President for Athletics Eddie Nuñez said. “We are thrilled to be able to have our brand showcased by one of the biggest beverage companies in the world and strive to continue to try and find new ways to implement this type of collaboration across our corporate portfolio.”

UH isn’t the only Texas university Bud Light has crafted a new can for. Bud Light turned burnt orange for the University of Texas at Austin and featured the blue and orange Roadrunner for the University of Texas at San Antonio.
