Police say the 21-year-old was last seen on campus near Harold Simmons Hall around 12:30 p.m.

DALLAS — Southern Methodist University Police are working to locate missing student Brianna Arango, according to officials. 

Police say 21-year-old Arango was last seen on campus near Harold Simmons Hall around 12:30 p.m. Thursday. They say she did not attend her regularly scheduled class at 1 p.m. Police add that Arango also did not meet up with family members as planned earlier in the day. 

Arango was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue sweatpants, and carrying a beige tote bag. 

SMU Police are asking for the community’s assistance in locating her and are asking anyone with information to call them at (214) 768-3388 or submit a tip through the SMU Aware Safety App.
