Lubbock Driver Attempts To Flee From Traffic Stop
On Thursday afternoon a Deputy with the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Department pulled over a driver in the 2600 block of Memphis Avenue. After the Deputy pulled over the vehicle and exited his own. That is when the driver drove away from the scene and led Lubbock Sheriff Deputies on a pursuit that lasted about 9 minuets.
The pursuit ended on the South Loop 289 access road near 50th Street. That’s when deputies used their own vehicles to block the driver’s path.
No injuries were reported according to KAMC. The driver was arrested.
