One of the state’s most important roadways is getting a facelift in Dallas County, bringing steady closures.
This weekend, a variety of closures along I-35 are coming up as part of the Phase 2 project reconstructing and widening a section of the highway between I-635 and the Denton County line.

The following segments of I-35 will be reduced to one lane:
Southbound between the PGBT and I-635 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly until Sunday, Feb. 15.Northbound between I-635 and the PGBT from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly until Monday, Feb. 16.
The following lanes will be closed:
Westbound I-635 TEXpress to northbound I-35 from 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15 to 6 a.m. Monday, Feb. 16.All managed lanes (HOV and express lanes) between I-635 and the PGBT from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly from Friday, Feb. 13 until Sunday, Feb. 15.Exit and entrance ramp closures
I-35 exits to the following will be closed:
Valley View Lane northbound from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Sunday, Feb. 15 to Monday, Feb. 16.
Entrances to I-35 from the following will be closed:
