The tournament-style winter rodeos continue, now with the 2026 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. One of the big hitters of the winter run, San Antonio runs Feb. 12-28, and is unique in that the highest cumulative money-earner of the team roping is crowned the champ.

San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Team Roping Format
There will be five brackets consisting of 10 teams competing in three, back-to-back rounds. The top four money winners from each bracket will advance to the clean-slate semifinals.
Contestants who do not advance to the Finals from the semifinals will rope in the Wildcard. The team with the fastest time will advance to the clean-slate Finals.
The Finals will consist of 11 teams, and the team roping champion will be determined by most money won at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo.
