The venue will officially open on Feb. 13
After much anticipation and a longer-than-planned construction timeline, Mavericks Dance Hall is officially opening its doors at Grandscape on Feb. 13. Doors open at 7 p.m., marking the debut of a venue designed to bring classic Texas dance hall energy to one of North Texas’ fastest-growing entertainment districts.
Originally announced with a summer 2025 target opening, the project faced delays that pushed the launch into 2026. Now ready, the venue is positioning itself as a full-scale country nightlife destination rather than just another live music spot.
Inside, guests will find a massive dance floor, high-end sound and lighting production, full-service bars and a large patio. The space leans into traditional honky-tonk culture while adding modern amenities, including oversized restrooms and upgraded staging built for live performances.
Live Music Kicks Off Opening Weekend
Opening weekend continues with live country music. Texas country band Kin Faux is scheduled to perform Feb. 15, with doors opening at 7 p.m. The show is limited to guests 21 and older.
The event reflects the venue’s broader focus on creating an immersive nightlife experience centered on live music, social dancing and classic Texas party atmosphere.
More Entertainment On The Way
Mavericks is not the only new arrival planned for Grandscape. The Rustic is preparing to expand with a new location set to open in summer 2026 in the former Lava Cantina space.
Known for combining live Americana music with a casual dining environment, The Rustic’s new outpost will feature a rotating lineup of local musicians alongside a menu focused on Texas beers and comfort-driven dishes. The venue aims to serve as a social gathering spot for everything from weeknight performances to weekend meetups.
Together, the openings signal continued momentum for Grandscape as it evolves into one of North Texas’ most active entertainment hubs, blending live music venues, dining destinations and nightlife experiences in a single district.
