Police said Daisy Josephine Nuncio, 37, was killed in the crash along Loyola Lane and Sendero Hills Parkway.

AUSTIN, Texas — Police have identified a victim killed in a two-vehicle collision that happened Wednesday in northeast Austin. 

According to the Austin Police Department (APD), 37-year-old Daisy Josephine Nuncio died in the crash on Loyola Lane and Sendero Hills Parkway. 

Law enforcement arrived to the scene of the collision shortly after 7 a.m. Wednesday, where they said a woman, later identified as Nuncio, was pronounced dead on scene. 

The driver and passengers inside the opposing vehicle suffered from non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital following the crash. Police did not say if any charges were filed. 

This is Austin’s 11th deadly crash of the year, compared to five deadly collisions at the same time in 2025. An investigation is underway as law enforcement works to learn more.
