The Texas grocery giant has filed permits to expand at its lone location near Fair Oaks Ranch in the coming months.

The H-E-B at 29388 W. I-10 frontage road, near Fair Oaks Ranch, may see a True Texas BBQ open by the fall.
According to permits that H-E-B filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the $2 million expansion may begin as early as June and be completed in September.
The new restaurant and dining area will add approximately 4,465 square feet to the existing grocery store.
What’s special about it?
True Texas BBQ is a fast-casual barbecue joint located at various H-E-B stores across Texas, according to its website.
On the menu is smoked meat ready-to-order by the pound, traditional barbecue plates with sides and a variety of specialty sandwiches.
