Help fight pediatric cancer and support the Children’s Cancer Fund at their 36th Annual Fashion Show and Gala. Join NBC 5, Telemundo 39, Honorary Chairs Troy Aikman and Dak Prescott, and Gala Chairs Kasey Lemkin and Bina Palnitkar for an unforgettable evening on April 17 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas.
Last year alone, the gala raised $3 million dollars for pediatric cancer research and care in North Texas, contributing to a legacy of impact that has helped fuel lifesaving breakthroughs across the region. This year’s theme, “Unbridled Courage,” celebrates the bravery of the children and families who confront cancer with unwavering determination.
“The annual gala is more than just a signature event; it is a powerful testament to what happens when a community refuses to accept the status quo for our children,” said Jennifer Arthur, CEO of Children’s Cancer Fund. “To date, the funds raised have directly accelerated groundbreaking research and provided essential support for families navigating their darkest days. Every dollar represents a step closer to a world where childhood cancer is a thing of the past and seeing that impact unfold in real-time is what drives our mission forward.”
The Fashion Show and Gala is Children’s Cancer Fund’s flagship fundraising event that does more than raise vital funds for local pediatric oncology care. It is a powerful celebration of resilience, hope, and community. Eighteen children, ages 5-15 currently undergoing cancer treatment, will take the runway in outfits of their choice, donated by Dillard’s, each accompanied by a celebrity escort. The event brings together celebrities, researchers, and sponsors for a heartwarming and life- changing event that honors the strength and courage of children undergoing cancer treatment.
“Every time I come back, I’m reminded of the strength and courage these children show — not just on the runway, but in their daily fight,” said Troy Aikman. “Being part of this is one of the most meaningful experiences of my life.”
“The joy these kids bring, knowing everything they’re going through and the resilience it takes just to be here, is what brings me back year after year,” added Dak Prescott. “Being part of a night that gives them spirit, love, hope and support, while recognizing the obstacles they face every day, means the world to me.”
The Gala and Fashion Show align with the Children’s Cancer Fund’s vision of a brighter future for children with cancer. At the Gala they will celebrate victories, honor memories, and look forward to a childhood cancer- free world. The cocktail reception and auction start at 6:00 p.m. and doors open at 7:00 p.m.

About Children’s Cancer Fund (CCF)
Children’s Cancer Fund was founded in 1982 by a coalition of parents whose children were receiving cancer therapy at Children’s Health. CCF raises millions of dollars for pediatric cancer research and Child Life services each year and has created ten endowments that support pediatric cancer patients at Children’s Health and UT Southwestern. CCF is one of the nation’s leading fundraising groups supporting local research toward treatment and prevention of childhood cancers.
Children’s Cancer Fund champions kids in their fight against cancer through strategic investments in research and care in North Texas and generates funds through several fundraising events throughout the year and private donations.
