On Friday, Feb. 13, Allison Guy, a language acquisition coach for Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD’s Lakewood Elementary, received a TangerKids grant for her project “Gamifying Language Acquisition.”
The grant will help students learning English as a second language practice in fun, low-stress ways through board games, with extra games families can check out to keep the learning going at home.
