AUSTIN, Texas — A 34-year-old man has died from his injuries days after a motorcycle collision in South Austin on Sunday evening.
Austin police responded to the crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle on Sunday, Oct. 19, at 7:24 p.m. in the 9500 block of South 1st Street.

The motorcyclist, later identified as Mario Esai Navarro, was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene, was not impaired, and cooperated with the investigation.
The incident marks Austin’s 77th fatal crash of 2025, resulting in 81 fatalities.
