A 27-year-old man was arrested in connection with a possible domestic violence-related killing in Fort Worth on Wednesday, according to a social media post from Fort Worth police.
Elijah Jordan Jacobo was arrested in El Paso, the post said.
On Wednesday, Fort Worth police officers were called to the apartment in the 7300 block of Harris Parkway at about 11:53 a.m. for a welfare check.
Police obtained a warrant at around 7 p.m. to enter the apartment and found a woman dead inside with evidence of a crime.
26-year-old Talia Sanchez was identified as the victim, according to online records from the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.
