Bowie lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Plano West, but it’s fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday’s matchup. The Bulldogs blew past the Wolves 13-0 on Friday. Bowie got a massive performance out of Cadie Hays, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Hays also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Bella Nungaray was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one double.
They weren’t the only ones making solid contact: Bowie kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they’ve now got at least nine hits every time they’ve taken the field this season.
