Thunderstorms are increasing this evening and overnight across West Texas, the Panhandle, and the Permian Basin. That activity will spread east-northeast into Northwest Texas, the Big Country, and the Concho Valley overnight into Saturday morning, followed by North Texas and Texoma after sunrise.

Some storms could become strong to severe with:
• Hail up to golf ball size (1.75″)
• Strong wind gusts
• Heavy rain
• Frequent cloud-to-ground lightning
The tornado threat overnight is very low.

Additional storms Saturday afternoon and Saturday night across the eastern half of Texas could become severe with damaging winds, hail, and a couple tornadoes possible.
