Head Coaches Matthew Mitchell and Brandon Schneider meet for the first time in their careers.
Houston Assistant Coach Marqu’es Webb spent two seasons at Kansas from 2023-25.
Houston Associate Head Coach Damitria Buchanan spent six seasons at Kansas from 2015-2021. She was also part of the coaching staff at Stephen F. Austin under Brandon Schneider from 2011-13.

LAST TIME OUT 


Houston dropped a tight 73-63 decision against Colorado on Wednesday evening inside Fertitta Center.
Briana Peguero led Houston with a season high 21 points and recorded six treys to tie her career-high in 3-pointers made. She is the first Cougar to score six 3-pointers in a Big 12 Conference game since Houston joined the league.
Kierra Merchant recorded 13 points to extend her double-digit scoring streak to four games and Jorynn Ross posted 10 points.
