Several local and federal law enforcement agencies conducted a coordinated enforcement activity on Friday in different locations across Dallas-Fort Worth, according to a news release from Dallas police.
Paris Adult Book Store at 11118 Harry Hines Blvd. closed Friday as a result of the enforcement operations, KXAS-TV (NBC5) reported. The report said a Plano property associated with a suspect in the investigation at the adult bookstore was also raided.
On Feb. 12, the city of Dallas obtained a temporary restraining order against a business in the 10600 block of Harry Hines related to prostitution and narcotics sales by employees, according to the release.
The business closed in compliance with the order, police said.
According to the release, the Dallas Police Department’s Vice Unit, Human Trafficking Unit and the Northwest Prostitution Task Force are aggressively enforcing drug and sex crime laws in the Northwest Patrol Division.
