Teen dating violence will effect 1 in 12 students in the United States, but the Youth Advisory Council is changing. Family Violence Prevention Services formed the Youth Advisory Council to empower teens to talk to their peers about the signs and dangers of dating violence.
Council members get the word out to fellow teens and speak with elected officials about protecting survivors.
