SCOUTING AUBURN: Auburn ranks 17th in the nation with an average score of 196.450, earning top-12 national averages on vault (49.195), beam (49.145) and floor (49.265). Sophia Bella paces the Tigers on vault (9.850) and floor (9.885). Head coach Jeff Graba has led the team to 13 NCAA Regional appearances and three NCAA Championships berths in his 15 seasons at the helm.
 
SCOUTING NC STATE: NC State averages a score of 195.155, ranking 21st in the country. The Wolfpack are in the NCAA’s top-25 in all four events, including 15th on floor (49.245) and 16th on bars (49.040). Syniya Thomas has the team’s top beam (9.825) and floor (9.905) averages, tying for 17th in the country on floor. Kim Landrus is in her ninth season at the helm, leading the team to NCAA Regionals each year.
 
SCOUTING NORTH CAROLINA: North Carolina is 13th in the nation with an average of 196.500, including a 49.215 mark on vault that places it ninth in the NCAA. The Tar Heels are also in the top-20 on beam (49.035) and floor (49.240). Sydney Seabrooks ranks sixth-nationally on floor (9.920) while Kaya Forbes is 10th on vault (9.885). Danna Durante has guided the team to NCAA Regionals in all four seasons at the helm.
 
BROUGHT IT ON BARS: Kristina  Shchennikova won a share of the bars crown in Boise State’s Feb. 6 quad, recording a season-high 9.875. This matches Boise State’s highest individual event score of the year and gave the sophomore her first-career win on the apparatus. She has four overall wins in her career, posting three on beam last season. She is the only gymnast on the Boise State roster with an event title in multiple events.
 
SEASON-BESTS AT THE X: In addition to a team-high overall score (195.350), Boise State notched season-best event scores on vault (48.850) and bars (48.975) in the Feb. 6 home quad. The vault score was obtained despite only having five routines, with all five scoring 9.750 or higher. Kristina Shchennikova won the bars crown while Kylee Hamby (9.850) matched her season-high and Carly Buell (9.800) posted her top score of the year.
 
FLOURISHING ON FLOOR: Boise State posted a season-best 49.075 on floor in the Jan. 30 home quad, led by Blake Pascal, who finished second with a 9.875. Pascal has scored 9.800 or higher and led the Broncos in four meets this year. Miraya Nero added a career-high 9.850 while Delaney Reeves posted a 9.825, the second-best mark of her career.
 
FANTASTIC FRESHMEN: Miraya Nero was named Mountain West Co-Freshman of the Week after her Jan. 16 performance at BYU, where she won the all-around crown with a 39.075 and tied for second on beam with a 9.825. She is the first Boise State freshman to win an all-around title since 2017 (Courtney McGregor) and first Bronco to secure a MW Specialist of the Week award this year. She posted a career-high 9.850 on floor and 39.100 in the all-around in the Jan. 30 home quad, Boise State’s best all-around score since 2021 (Hope Masiado). Isabella Delarosa, a Meridian, Idaho native, competed at home for the first time on Jan. 30, scoring 9.825 on beam to earn a share of the event title, the first of her career.
 
KHO-BOOM: Senior Sydney Kho captured her first vault title of the year and second of her career at Air Force on Jan. 23, tallying a season-high 9.825. The senior has appeared in Boise State’s vault lineup in all but one meet since joining the Broncos, completing 40 routines.
 
PRESEASON POLLS: Boise State was tabbed first in the Mountain West Preseason Coaches’ Poll, earning 27 of 30 points and two first-place votes. The Broncos were tabbed 32nd in the WCGA Preseason Coaches’ Poll. Last year, the Broncos were 32nd in the final rankings, tallying a 196.115 NQS. They ended the regular season ranked 30th overall and 20th on bars, registering a team NQS of 49.240.
 
RING SEASON: One season after winning the inaugural Mountain West Championships, Boise State won the 2025 MW regular season crown. The Broncos had the league’s top NQS on bars (49.240), beam (49.080) and floor (49.105) last year. This season, the Broncos will host the Mountain West Championships in ExtraMile Arena.
 
BIRD BACK WITH THE BRONCOS: Head coach Tina Bird is in her 19th season at the helm, serving as co-head coach from 2008-19 before becoming the lone head coach in 2020. From 1990-2007, she was an assistant coach for Boise State. Bird was a gymnast at Boise State from 1986-89, holding the school’s floor record for four years. In her 36 years on staff, Boise State has produced 34 NCAA Regional appearances, 15 conference titles and 13 All-Americans. Bird has earned the conference coach of the year eight times, including the last two awards in the Mountain West.
 
ALL-MOUNTAIN WEST RETURNERS: Boise State returns three All-Mountain West selections from last season, led by Co-Freshman of the Year Kristina Shchennikova, who was also a second-team selection on bars. She earned MW Freshman of the Week five times and MW Beam Specialist of the Week three times throughout the 2025 campaign, winning three beam titles during her rookie year. Also coming back for the Broncos are two All-MW floor selections. First-team honoree Blake Pascal returns for her fifth year and second-team honoree Bridget Kemp is back for her sophomore campaign. Pascal has four-career wins on floor with Kemp adding two.
