Obituary of Richard L Moore, Jr. Please share a memory of Richard to include in a keepsake book for family and friends. View Tribute Book Richard L. Moore Jr., known to everyone as Rick, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026, at the age of 67. Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Rick spent his entire life in the city he proudly called home. Rick was preceded in death by his beloved partner, Cynthia; his parents, Richard Moore Sr. and Carolyn Walker; and his brother, Mark Moore. He carried their memories close to his heart and spoke of them often. Family meant everything to Rick. He is survived by his brother, Robert Tonione; his sisters, Mary Moore and Debbie Manix; his son, Ricky Moore (Crystal); and his daughter, Lori Moore (Benny). He was a proud grandfather to Cloie, Brayden, Michael, Raven, and Paige, and a loving great‑grandfather to Lincoln and Parker. Rick treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren—playing, laughing, and telling jokes that always brought smiles. Rick found joy in the simple things in life. He loved fishing, reading, and writing poetry, and he found peace and strength in reading his Bible and trusting in God. A devoted sports fan, he rarely missed a Dallas Cowboys game and faithfully cheered them on every season. More than anything, Rick will be remembered for his sense of humor, gentle spirit, and the deep love he had for his family. Though his presence will be greatly missed, the memories he created will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him
