Two incumbents are running unopposed in the upcoming election for seats on the Allen ISD board of trustees after filing closed in February.

Two seats on the board are up for election in May:
Candidate filing closed at 5 p.m. Feb. 13, a district official confirmed.
Board President Polly Montgomery, who currently serves in Place 6, has filed to run for re-election to the same seat, according to Allen ISD’s website. Board Vice President Bill Parker, who sits in Place 7, has also filed to run for re-election in the same seat.
Candidates for the board are elected at-large to serve for three-year terms, according to Allen ISD’s website. Places 6 and 7 were last up for election in 2023.
Dates to know
Election day is May 2, according to the Texas Secretary of State’s website. Early voting will begin April 20 and end April 28. April 2 is the last day to register to vote.
