A man was cut and injured Friday morning at a homeless camp in east Fort Worth, police said.
Officers responded to Uplift Meridian Preparatory school at 1801 S. Beach St. around 8:10 a.m. after getting a call about a man with a laceration to the stomach, according to the 911 call sheet. The man told officers he’d been attacked at a homeless camp in nearby Cobb Park.
Detectives went to talk with the suspect, police said. The injured man was taken to a hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.
