SAN ANTONIO – Two young men were struck by an alleged intoxicated driver while attempting to fix a tire early Saturday morning.
The crash occurred around 2:30 a.m. near IH-37 and E Cesar Chavez Blvd.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, two 20-year-old men were attempting to change a tire on the side of the road when a pickup truck lost control and struck the two cars.
The two men were struck and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The 20-year-old driver was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
