Fort Worth detectives are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred Friday night.
Police say they were called to the Cargill Circle around 9 p.m. and found 51-year-old Mirlande Ciprien dead on scene.
In a release, Fort Worth Police Department officials said Ciprien and her son were involved in a “domestic altercation,” and this was an isolated incident.
The suspect was found with some form of self-inflicted wound and was taken to the hospital in police custody.
Homicide detectives are investigating this incident and will provide updates as they learn more.
