LAREDO, Texas – Almost $7 million in cocaine was discovered in a shipment of roses by Border Patrol agents in Laredo on Tuesday.
The seizure occurred on February 10 at the World Trade Bridge.
According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the truck was flagged for a secondary inspection when canine units found the drugs.
211 packages containing 516.78 pounds of alleged cocaine were found, with an estimated street value of $6,899,798.
