Marie Vega Deines, age 95, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026, in Arlington, Texas. She was born on Friday, August 30, 1930, in Douglas, Arizona to Manuel R. Vega and Mara De Jesus Escarcega, Marie was raised in Douglas, Arizona. Early Years. Marie attended and graduated from Grammar High School in Douglas, Arizona. Her first job was with a Ford dealership where she did the invoices & monthly report to FMCO. She moved to Tucson, Arizona and was hired by American Airlines to do accounting & bookkeeping, while at American Airlines she met and married John Stagnetti who serviced and fueled American Airlines Aircraft. They followed several jobs in American Airlines and settled in El Paso, Texas where they purchased a home and volunteered at a Catholic Church.
