A 28-year-old man has been arrested and faces a murder charge after a woman’s body was found last week in a Fort Worth apartment, police said Sunday.

Fort Worth police found Talia Alicia Nadine Sanchez dead at an apartment in the 7300 block of Harris Parkway at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.

Officers went to the home for a welfare check, according to police. The woman’s body, along with evidence of a crime, was found by police after they entered the apartment.

It is believed that Sanchez was killed during a domestic-related incident, police said.
