FORT WORTH – Mario De La Fuente III passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the age of 52. Visitation: 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Friday, February 27, 2026, in the Breyley Room at Mount Olivet Chapel. Funeral: 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Born December 27, 1973, in Fort Worth, Texas to Mario De La Fuente, Jr. and Santa Davila De La Fuente, Mario’s greatest joy in life was his children and granddaughter whom he loved more than anything in this world. They were the center of his life and his greatest pride. Mario had a deep capacity for love that touched everyone who knew him. Even in the face of lifelong health challenges, he remained a source of comfort, warmth, and strength to those around him. His life was a testament to perseverance, loyalty, and the importance of family. Through every hardship, he continued to fight – showing up with love and devotion to the people who mattered most. After retiring from a career of 25 years as a truck driver, Mario liked to go fishing, spend time with his dogs, enjoy sports and his family. Mario was preceded in death by his parents, Mario De La Fuente, Jr. and Santa De La Fuente. He is survived by his loving wife, Leticia Arebalo-De La Fuente; son, Adam De La Fuente; daughter, Destinee Ventura; cherished granddaughter, Delilah Ventura; nurturing godmother, Margarita Martinez; brothers, Anselmo De La Fuente and Alberto De La Fuente; and sister, Juanita Perez will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
