Pregame

Arkansas and Texas Tech are scheduled to get underway at 2:30 p.m. here in Arlington.

The fifth-ranked Razorbacks are looking to bounce back from last night’s 5-4 loss to 10th-ranked TCU. Texas Tech is looking for its first win following losses of 10-3 to Oklahoma and 13-3 to Vanderbilt.

Left-hander Colin Fisher will take the mound today for Arkansas. He was injured while pitching against the Red Raiders two years ago.

Texas Tech will start right-hander Connor Mohan.

The Razorbacks are trying a different lineup today after struggling at the plate last night. It includes four true freshmen, including three — Carter Rutenbar, Christian Turner and Alexander Peck — who will make their first start.

Turner is in right field for Kuhio Aloy, who left last night’s game after the seventh inning with hamstring tightness.

Here is the lineup:

RF Damian Ruiz

C Ryder Helfrick

CF Maika Niu

2B Camden Kozeal

1B Alexander Peck

DH Carter Rutenbar

3B TJ Pompey

SS Carson Brumbaugh
