Trash fire at restaurant near Alamo Quarry Market quickly put out; no injuries reported

SAN ANTONIO — Firefighters quickly extinguished a small trash fire at a restaurant near the Alamo Quarry Market shopping center on Sunday.

Fire crews responded around 2:28 p.m. to the 900 block of East Basse Road.

According to the San Antonio Fire Department, a small trash bin caught fire inside the bathroom of the restaurant. Crews are checking for fire extension.

Investigators are working to determine what caused the fire. No injuries were reported.
