Police units respond on scene.
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — It is unclear if the driver of a car that hit and killed a pedestrian on the far Northeast Side will be facing charges.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the pedestrian was walking along an access road in the 3800 block of North Loop 1604 East near Bulverde Road when they were hit just before 11 p.m. Saturday. Investigators say the driver was heading eastbound on the access road and hit the pedestrian when trying to enter Loop 1604.
Police say the driver stopped and called for help, but the unidentified person hit died at the scene.
