COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – Texas A&M women’s basketball took down Auburn 81-63 at Reed Arena on Sunday night. Here is a game rundown:
Why did A&M win? The Aggies gained control through the second of this game. A&M went back-to-back with a 9-0 then 10-0 run to lead by nine headed into halftime. The Aggies continued momentum through the third quarter which ended in a buzzer beating three-pointer from Chaney Spencer.
Who stood out? Fatmata Janneh led A&M with 16 points and 10 rebounds for her eighth double-double performance this season.
What’s next? The Aggies hit the road to take on No. 22 Tennessee on Feb. 19 at 5:30 p.m.
