An accident near University Park has closed all but northbound U.S. 75’s leftmost lane, including exit lanes, according to the Texas Department of Transportation’s traffic map.
Multiple units from the Dallas Police Department are on the scene responding to a major freeway accident at U.S. 75 and Lovers Lane, per online records. Traffic cameras along the highway also show multiple fire trucks responding.
The accident is causing an ongoing severe traffic jam beginning where Woodall Rogers Freeway becomes U.S. 75 near downtown Dallas
Dallas police did not immediately respond to a request for information.
