Pizza Verde, a vegan pizza restaurant in Fort Worth, suffered damage from a fire on Friday, before Valentine’s Day.

FORT WORTH, Texas — Pizza Verde, a cozy Fort Worth vegan pizza place honored by Texas Monthly, was badly damaged by a fire right before the Valentine’s Day rush.

In a Feb. 13 social media post, Pizza Verde said it would close for the weekend after a roof fire caused damage inside the building.

The fire was sparked by an electrical issue, the Fort Worth Fire Department said in a statement. No one was injured in the fire, officials said.

It’s not clear when the restaurant may reopen. Pizza Verde was nearly forced to close last year, but was saved after its customers rallied to financially back the restaurant and keep it open.Â
