A woman is hospitalized after a drive-by shooting early Monday morning in southeast Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.
HPD watch command officials confirmed officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 7600 block of McHenry Street shortly after 5:30 a.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a female victim who had been shot. Police said the shooting appears to be a drive-by.
The woman was transported to a nearby hospital and is currently listed in stable condition.
Investigators said there is no suspect information available at this time. Detectives are reviewing home surveillance video in the area in hopes of identifying a possible suspect vehicle or person involved.
The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Houston Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
