FORT MEYERS, Florida (February 16, 2026) – Lubbock Christian senior forward Amondo Miller Jr. was named to the 2026 Bevo Francis Top 50 Watch List, Small College Basketball announced on Sunday. The award is presented annually to the player who has had the finest overall season within small college basketball.

The Top-50 list includes some of the top player from NCAA Division II and III, NAIA Division I and II, the USCAA and NCCAA. This is the 10th season for Small College Basketball to present the prestigious award, although a winner was not named in 2021. The Bevo Francis Awards Committee, which is made up of 20 coaches, will consider season statistics, individual achievements, awards, personal character and team achievements when they eventually select a winner.

Miller, in his second year with the Chaps, ranks second in the Lone Star Conference and 27th nationally with 20.2 points per game, shooting 50.3 percent from the field and 38.1 percent from behind the arc. He also averages 8.8 rebounds per game while leading the team in steals with 38. He plays more than 35 minutes per game, which is the second-most in the LSC. 

On March 15th, the Top 25 players will be announced. On April 2nd, the finalists of this year’s award will be announced, followed by the Bevo Francis Award winner being crowned on April 7th.

Entering the final two weeks of the regular season, Lubbock Christian finds themselves in third in the league standings, boasting a 22-4 overall record and a 13-3 showing in LSC play. They will be on the road this week, taking on Angelo State and UT Permian Basin on Thursday and Saturday, respectively.
