There are four candidates who filed to run for Georgetown City Council in the May election, which will have the mayor, District 2 and District 6 positions on the ballot.

In Georgetown, City Council members and the mayor serve three-year terms.

Both the race for mayor and District 2 are uncontested. Georgetown Mayor Josh Schroeder will seek re-election, and Dough Noble will run unopposed for District 2.

Incumbent Jake French will run against Emily Kaye for District 6.

Polling locations for both early voting and election day will be available on the Williamson County Elections page, according to a city news release.
