EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — The Canutillo Independent School District board approved two executive-level positions during a board meeting Tuesday night.
According to the agenda item, trustees approved the employment of personnel — including duties and compensation — for the positions of Deputy Superintendent and Executive Director of Communications.
The item was discussed in executive session before being approved by the board.
The vote was not unanimous, with Vice President Lilia Maldonado casting the lone “no” vote.
District officials did not release additional details about the duties or compensation for the approved positions Tuesday night.
