Shawn Torres, known at Church of the Incarnation as Pastor T, will be keynote speaker at the LH YMCA Prayer Breakfast.
“Service to Others” is the theme of this year’s Prayer Breakfast hosted annually by the Lake Highlands Family YMCA. Shawn Torres, who serves as Church of the Incarnations’ Assistant for Adult Discipleship and is known affectionately as Pastor T, will share the keynote address.
“With over two decades of ministry experience, Shawn brings a deep passion for holistic discipleship, reconciliation and community transformation,” according to the church’s website. “Whether preaching, teaching or walking alongside others in their faith journey, his heart is rooted in the apostolic message: Be reconciled to God (2 Corinthians 5:20).”
Shawn holds a Master of Theology in Bible Exposition and Servant Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has studied biblical history in Israel.
The Prayer Breakfast will be held Tuesday, February 24 at 7 a.m., and the breakfast line opens at 6:45. The event is free, but attendees are asked to RSVP to Lynzee Tavizon at LTavizon@ymcadallas.org or 214-221-9622.
