RICHARDSON, Texas (February 17, 2026) – Lubbock Christian University senior sprinter Reuel Campbell was named the Lone Star Conference Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday. 

This is the second time this season Campbell has claimed the weekly conference award. He also won it on January 27. 

Campbell had an impressive weekend at the Jarvis Scott Invite, writing his name in the school record books twice. Individually, he broke the program record in the 200-meter, placing 16th in the race with a time of 21.17s. Campbell then ran on the LCU 4X400 team, which set a new school record with a time of 3:08.13 and placed seventh. That mark is the fourth-fastest time in Division II history. He also set a new personal best individually in the 400-meter with a time of 46.78s, placing ninth. 

Lubbock Chrisitian is off the weekend as they prepare for the 2026 Lone Stat Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships. The event, which is being hosted at the Albuquerque Convention Center in New Mexico, will take place on Feb. 27-28.Â
