Multiple wildfires have sparked across the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles on Tuesday afternoon amid high winds across the region.
Fire crews are battling a wildfire in Beaver County, near Highway 64, several miles east of Beaver. A portion of the highway is being shut down.
The fire is working its way north and east at about five miles per hour.
Firefighters expect the head of the fire to hit the river.
A second fire is also burning about four miles east of Hartley near Highway 87 and Snyder Road. Details on this blaze are limited at this time.
Another fire has emerged near Hooker. ABC 7 News is reaching out to gather information on this fire as well.
