Ashton Woods announced plans for The Trails at Carmel, the last section of the broader Carmel development in Pflugerville.
The phase will include 500 homes built by Ashton Woods within a community totaling 954 homesites.

Homes will range from 40- to 70-foot lots and offer nearly 20 floor plans.
Sales are expected to begin in late spring, with four designer model homes opening for tours around the same time, according to the company.
The development is located near Lake Pflugerville, which offers fishing, canoeing and swimming.
Community amenities include scenic walking trails and access to existing features within the Carmel master plan.
Company officials said the homes will incorporate the builder’s in-house design process, which allows buyers to work directly with designers to personalize layouts, finishes and fixtures.
The Trails at Carmel represents the final buildout of the Carmel community as residential growth continues across eastern Pflugerville.
