CCPD PIO Tony Contreras told 3NEWS that officers are responding to a two-car accident at the intersection of Greenwood and Horne that left one person dead.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi Police Department officers are investigating a fatal crash at the intersection of Greenwood Drive and Horne Road, according to CCPD Public Information Officer Antonio Contreras. 

Contreras told 3NEWS that two cars were involved, and one person is dead. Details are extremely limited at this time. An investigation is underway. 

Avoid the area if possible.
