A Dallas police officer was fired following a disciplinary hearing with Chief Daniel Comeaux, the department said in a statement Tuesday.

Officer Bradley Hance was fired after his arrest by the Texas Department of Public Safety for allegedly driving while intoxicated and under the influence of alcohol, the statement said.

Hance worked with the special operations division and had been with the department since September 2004.

He was first placed on leave on June, 14, 2025, according to department records.

Hance could not immediately be reached for comment Tuesday evening. It was not clear if he has an attorney.
